Easy Pineapple Fritters Recipe

These pineapple fritters are perfectly golden on the outside with juicy pineapple on the inside. Lightly fried and dusted with powdered sugar, they’re a quick and tropical treat that’s great for snacks or dessert.

Ingredients

  • Fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into rings or chunks – 2 cups (300 g)
  • All-purpose flour – 1 cup (125 g)
  • Granulated sugar – 2 tablespoons (25 g)
  • Baking powder – 1½ teaspoons
  • Salt – ¼ teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon (optional) – ½ teaspoon
  • Milk – ¾ cup (180 ml)
  • Large egg – 1
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
  • Neutral oil for frying – about 2 cups (480 ml)
  • Powdered sugar for serving – ¼ cup (30 g)

Instructions

  • Pat the pineapple pieces dry with paper towels and set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a smooth batter.
  • Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  • Dip pineapple pieces into the batter, coating evenly.
  • Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve warm with powdered sugar.
