½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs or crushed crackers

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Boil water in a large pot, add salt, and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.

  2. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Grill or sear until cooked through.

  2. Let rest, then shred or cube into bite-sized pieces.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Roux

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).

  3. Stir in flour and whisk constantly to form a roux, cooking for 1–2 minutes.
