Ingredients

Scale

For the crust:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

For the apple filling:

  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

For the whipped topping:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For garnish:

  • Caramel sauce
  • Crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined. Press a couple of spoonfuls into the bottom of each serving cup to form a crust layer.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add diced apples. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. Cook the apples for about 5–7 minutes until soft and caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  5. To assemble, layer the cooled apple mixture over the graham crust in each cup.
  6. Add a layer of whipped cream on top of the apples.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with extra crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs.
  8. Chill until ready to serve or enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp to maintain texture after cooking.

  • Whip your cream to stiff peaks to ensure it holds up in layers.

  • Let the apple mixture cool completely before assembling to avoid melting the cream.

  • For a stronger cheesecake flavor, add a layer of sweetened cream cheese between the apples and cream.

  • These parfaits can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but are best enjoyed within 24 hours for optimal texture.

  • Customize by swapping apples for pears, peaches, or even bananas to suit the season or your preference.
